The Victor RailRiders (3-3) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Albany Dutchmen (5-6), recording a 12-1 victory on Thursday at CPSC-Bob Bellizzi Field.

With six runs in the first three innings, the Victor RailRiders left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI single by Brock Daniels and an RBI single by Brady Acker during the first inning and a hit by pitch, , a double by Nick Boland, and an RBI single by Daniels in the second inning fueled the Victor RailRiders' offense early.

Boland racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Victor RailRiders.

Mitch Patishall picked up the win for the Victor RailRiders. Patishall pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and four walks while striking out four.

Chris Amorosi ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out four.
