Clark's walk-off single send the Elmira Pioneers home winners, 6-5

A walk-off single from Sam Clark brought home the winning run for the Elmira Pioneers (6-4) in a 6-5 victory over the Newark Pilots at Dunn Field on Wednesday.

Will LaRue got a hit in each of his four at bats. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings and doubled in the ninth inning.

Kyle Norman racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Newark Pilots (4-3). He singled in the third and fifth innings.

Ryan Bellomo recorded his second win of the year for the Elmira Pioneers. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Nick Wegmann (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
