Both the Elmira Pioneers (13-8) and the Victor RailRiders (8-9) put runners aboard on Monday, but it was the Elmira Pioneers that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 4-2 win at Victor High School.
Tristian Widra picked up the win for the Elmira Pioneers. Widra pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out three.
Drew Kissel went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Victor RailRiders. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the second and seventh innings.
Luke Tomczyk couldn't get it done on the bump for the Victor RailRiders, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
