The Saugerties Stallions (5-6) beat the Glens Falls Dragons (5-6) 9-6 on Friday at East Field, Glens Falls NY behind Clint Hardy, who had two extra base hits.

He homered in the fourth inning, singled in the fifth and sixth innings, and tripled in the eighth inning.

AJ Carkner improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Saugerties Stallions. He allowed one run over 3 1/3 innings. Carkner struck out four, walked three and gave up five hits.

JT Whritner couldn't get it done on the hill for the Glens Falls Dragons, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked three, struck out one, and allowed three runs.

The Saugerties Stallions were sparked by Hardy and Micah Riddick, who teamed up for seven hits and seven RBIs.
