Hunter Tackett collected three hits as the Amsterdam Mohawks (3-1) took home a 6-4 victory over the Utica Brewers (2-1) at Shuttleworth Park on Thursday.

Anthony Romanelli had an impressive outing against the Utica Brewers' lineup. Romanelli held the Utica Brewers hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Christian Maldonado improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Amsterdam Mohawks. Maldonado struck out one, walked two and gave up no hits.

Collin Gee was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
