The Victor RailRiders (12-12)'s three first-inning runs built an early lead that helped bring home a 5-4 win over the Elmira Pioneers (17-11) on Sunday at Victor High School.
The Victor RailRiders scored in the first on an RBI single by Brady Acker, a sacrifice fly by Mark Cardinalli, and an RBI single by Aaron Endres.
It was a good day at the plate for the Victor RailRiders' Acker. Acker went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs.
Christian Santisteban racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Elmira Pioneers. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fourth inning.
Jesse Bogacz recorded his second win of the year for the Victor RailRiders. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered 10 hits.
