The Adirondack Trail Blazers (1-2) had a tough outing on Tuesday, as the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs (1-2) dominated in a 7-1 win at Veterans Memorial Park.

The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs scored three runs in the fifth on the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs scored in the fifth on a sacrifice fly by Anthony Herrera, an RBI double by Colin Hawk, and an RBI single by Tyler Brien.

Sam Machonis got on base two times in the game for the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the sixth inning.

Marc Iseneker handled the Adirondack Trail Blazers' lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Iseneker allowed no earned runs, three hits and two walks over 4 2/3 innings.

Tommy Eng pitched lights out for the Adirondack Trail Blazers. The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs managed just one hit off of the the Adirondack Trail Blazers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Brien improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered one hit.

Stephen Himic ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
