The West Coast Kings had a tough outing on Tuesday, as the Alameda Merchants (7-10) dominated in an 11-5 win at College of Alameda.
A two-run single by Jian Lee and a two-run double by Brian Poupore helped the Alameda Merchants score four runs in the sixth. The Alameda Merchants had three hits in the inning.
Jesse Lewis was hot from the plate for the Alameda Merchants. Lewis went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first and fourth innings and tripled in the seventh inning.

Tucker McPhaul improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Alameda Merchants. He allowed two runs over two innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered three hits.
