Eric Del Prado both hit and pitched well for the Atwater Aviators (14-25), but it wasn't enough as the Atwater Aviators fell to the Top Speed Baseball 4-1 at Drake High on Tuesday.

Del Prado had a hot bat for the Atwater Aviators. Del Prado went 1-3 and drove in one. He singled in the third inning.

The Top Speed Baseball (33-5) had no answer for Del Prado, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Del Prado held the Top Speed Baseball hitless over one-third of an inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.

Matthew Haskins racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Top Speed Baseball. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

The Top Speed Baseball relied on Jordan Kurokawa to eat up innings en route to the win. Kurokawa allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out four over six innings of work.

Marcus Manderbach was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
