The bats were busy at College of Alameda on Tuesday, and when the dust cleared the Alameda Merchants (18-12) had a 12-8 win over the Atwater Aviators (14-19) in seven innings.
The two teams combined for 22 hits in the game.
Christian Leung got a hit in each of his three at bats. He singled in the first, third, and fourth innings.
Lucas Lorenz racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Atwater Aviators. He homered in the first inning.
Even though Gunnar David allowed five runs over two innings he still recorded the victory, his third of the season. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered six hits.
Kyle Singer couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Atwater Aviators, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in one inning, walked two and struck out none.
The Alameda Merchants' Michael Perri, Marcus Williams, Leung and Jordan Grubbs combined for eight hits and seven RBIs.
