The Sacramento Heat get on top of the Marysville Goldsox early but can't hang on in 5-1 loss

The Sacramento Heat (18-19) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 5-1 to the Marysville Goldsox on Thursday.

While the Sacramento Heat led until the fifth inning, the Marysville Goldsox worked their way back and took the lead on a two-run single by Spencer Lininger.

The Marysville Goldsox were led by a flawless day at the dish by Ryan Glanzer, who went 2-2 against the Sacramento Heat's pitching. He singled in the first and sixth innings.

Tyler Sharp had an impressive outing against the Sacramento Heat's lineup. The Sacramento Heat managed just three hits off of the the Marysville Goldsox's pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Brad Galisatus (3-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
