A walk-off single from Hunter Bishop brought home the winning run for the Solano Mudcats in a 10-9 victory over the Sacramento Heat (6-9) at Will C. Wood on Wednesday.

Bishop racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Solano Mudcats. He singled in the first and ninth innings.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 19 runs and 29 hits, including zero extra base hits. Relief pitchers got their fill of innings during the game, with the opposing managers using six pitchers in total.

The Solano Mudcats were led by Saul Perez's hitting. Perez went 3-5, drove in one and scored three runs. He singled in the first and eighth innings and doubled in the ninth inning.

Chris Moreno couldn't get it done on the bump for the Sacramento Heat, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
