The Sacramento Heat outlast the South Bay Storm in high-scoring affair, 12-9

Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the Sacramento Heat (8-9) outscored the South Bay Storm (8-14) 12-9 in seven innings.

The two teams combined for 26 hits in the game.

The Sacramento Heat's Kaelan Crisosto was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He singled in the first, fourth, and seventh innings.

The South Bay Storm were led by a flawless day at the dish by Nick Poirier, who went 4-4 against the Sacramento Heat's pitching. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings and homered in the seventh inning.

Jordan Garr got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed one run over 1 1/3 innings. Garr struck out one, walked two and gave up two hits.

Julius Raval ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
