The Nashua Silver Knights (19-18) and the Bristol Blues (23-16) each put runners in scoring position on Sunday, but the Nashua Silver Knights capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out an 8-6 win at Holman Stadium.

Gian Martellini racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Nashua Silver Knights. He singled in the fifth inning and tripled in the seventh inning.

Brandon Walsh pitched lights out for the Nashua Silver Knights. Walsh held the Bristol Blues hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Ryan Rinsky racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Bristol Blues. He homered in the sixth inning.

Tom Hudon improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Nashua Silver Knights. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out seven, walked five and surrendered four hits.

Rayne Supple (1-1) took the loss for the Bristol Blues. He allowed seven runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
