The Torrington Titans offense too much for the Nashua Silver Knights in 11-4 rout

Story by Narrative Science.

The Torrington Titans (15-17) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Nashua Silver Knights (15-17), recording an 11-4 victory on Tuesday at Holman Stadium.

Six runs in the first three innings allowed the Torrington Titans to put the game away early.

A two-run double by Dan Schock and a two-run double by Joe Paparelli during the first inning helped the Torrington Titans put some runs on the board early.

Paparelli racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Torrington Titans.

The Torrington Titans got the win thanks in large part to Robbie Hitt's dominant, six-strikeout performance. Hitt allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk over seven innings.

Ryan Sullivan racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Nashua Silver Knights. He homered in the ninth inning.

Clay Conaway (2-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked three and struck out five.
