A four-run explosion in the third inning carried the Nashua Silver Knights (12-14) to a 6-0 win in seven innings over the Brockton Rox (15-11) at Holman Stadium on Tuesday.
The Nashua Silver Knights scored in the third on a solo home run by Tyler Schwanz, a wild pitch, a sacrifice fly by Ben Bengtson, and a passed ball.
Schwanz racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Nashua Silver Knights.
Kevin Magee brought the heat against the Brockton Rox during his outing. Magee gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his five innings of work.
Blake Oyler ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out one.
