The Brockton Rox (3-3) and the North Shore Navigators (3-4) each put runners in scoring position on Thursday, but the Brockton Rox capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 9-4 win at Campanelli Stadium.

Tommy Stoffel racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Brockton Rox. He singled in the third inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Will Whitlock put together a nice outing. The North Shore Navigators managed just two hits off of the the Brockton Rox's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his four innings of work.

Daniel Metzdorf had an impressive outing against the Brockton Rox's lineup. Metzdorf held the Brockton Rox hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Cole OConnor (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in two-thirds of an inning, walked three and struck out one.
