The Seacoast Mavericks (2-2) failed to take advantage of Ryan Gendron's effort at the plate on Sunday, losing 13-9 to the Nashua Silver Knights (2-1) at Leary Field.

Gendron blasted two home runs for the Seacoast Mavericks. Gendron went 2-3 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Gendron homered in the first and eighth innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 22 total runs and 21 hits during the game. Managers of the two teams seemingly emptied their bullpens in search of the win, as there were 12 pitchers used in the game.

Ben Bengtson racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Nashua Silver Knights. He homered in the third innings and singled in the first and seventh innings.

Clay Conaway recorded his first win of the year for the Nashua Silver Knights. He allowed three runs over five innings. Conaway struck out none, walked four and gave up three hits.

Ryan Ricci (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
