The Orleans Firebirds takes advantage of early error, beats the Chatham Anglers 8-4

The Orleans Firebirds (31-12) jumped on the Chatham Anglers (22-22) early on their way to an 8-4 win on Sunday at Veterans Field, scoring four runs in the first inning.

The Orleans Firebirds scored in the first on an error, an error, and a three-run home run by Bobby Dalbec.

Willie Abreu was hot from the plate for the Orleans Firebirds. Abreu went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the fourth inning.
