John Kilichowski kept the Bourne Braves (20-20) off the board during his five innings of work and the Orleans Firebirds (29-12) beat the Bourne Braves, 4-1.

Kilichowski allowed three hits, no walks and struck out seven.

Ronnie Dawson was hot from the plate for the Orleans Firebirds. Dawson went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the fourth innings.

The Bourne Braves were led by Corey Julks's hitting. Julks went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Alex Robles ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
