It took 10 innings, but the Bourne Braves (20-19) managed to put away the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (21-20) 5-3 on Tuesday at Red Wilson Field.

Jacob Robson did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Bourne Braves, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the third inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Keegan Akin handled the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox's lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Akin allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks over five innings.

Jake DeCarli improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Bourne Braves. DeCarli struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Chad Hockin was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
