Brandon Bailey held the Chatham Anglers (21-16) scoreless for six innings to boost the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (19-18) to a 8-0 victory.

Bailey struck out four and allowed one walk and four hits.

Five runs in the opening three innings allowed the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox to easily put away the Chatham Anglers. A groundout by Donnie Walton and an RBI double by Stephen Wrenn in the first inning and an RBI single by Tommy Edman, an RBI single by Edman, and a two-run double by Walton during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox.

Cole Billingsley had two extra-base hits for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the sixth innings.

Daniel Castano ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox were sparked by Edman and Billingsley, who teamed up for four hits and three RBIs.
