The Orleans Firebirds (27-10) beat the Falmouth Commodores (13-23) 5-3 on Friday at Eldredge Park behind Bobby Dalbec, who went 3-3 at the plate.

Corbin Burnes brought the heat against the Falmouth Commodores during his outing. The Falmouth Commodores managed just three hits off of the the Orleans Firebirds' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his five innings of work.

Heath Quinn was hot from the plate for the Falmouth Commodores. Quinn went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the second and fourth innings and tripled in the sixth inning.

Stephen Villines brought the heat against the Orleans Firebirds during his outing. Villines held the Orleans Firebirds hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Joseph Camacho (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
