The Bourne Braves (15-16) and the Chatham Anglers (18-15) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Bourne Braves that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-2 win at Doran Park.

Nick Solak reached base four times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the third and eighth innings.

Keegan Akin baffled the Chatham Anglers, striking out five batters. The Bourne Braves' pitcher gave up just four hits over five shutout innings.

Despite the loss, the Chatham Anglers' Garrett Williams dominated the Bourne Braves' batters, giving up two runs and striking out six.

Austin Conway got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Andre Scrubb couldn't get it done on the mound for the Chatham Anglers, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
