The Chatham Anglers (18-13) rolled over the Wareham Gatemen (12-18) 8-0 on Friday at Spillane Field after a five-run rally in the third inning.
The Chatham Anglers scored in the third on a sacrifice fly by Aaron Barnett, an RBI single by Nate Mondou, an RBI double by Zack Short, an RBI single by Jake Fraley, an RBI single by Kyle Adams, and a fielder's choice.
The Wareham Gatemen had no answer for Daniel Castano, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Wareham Gatemen managed just two hits off of Castano, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his five innings of work.
Shaun Anderson (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked four and struck out none.
