JJ Matijevic collected three hits, sparking the Falmouth Commodores (12-16) to an 8-6 victory over the Bourne Braves (12-14) on Sunday at Doran Park.

Wyatt Short had an impressive outing against the Bourne Braves' lineup. Short held the Bourne Braves hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.

Mike Garzillo racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Bourne Braves. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Kyle Driscoll put together a nice outing. Driscoll held the Falmouth Commodores hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.

Jack Finnegan recorded his second win of the year for the Falmouth Commodores. Finnegan struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Keegan Akin ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
