Andrew Calica went 2-4, sparking the Wareham Gatemen (12-14) to a 2-1 victory over the Cotuit Kettleers (10-17) on Saturday at Spillane Field.

Evan Hill had an impressive outing against the Cotuit Kettleers' lineup. Hill gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out seven during his six innings of work.

Jack Anderson pitched lights out for the Cotuit Kettleers. The Wareham Gatemen managed just two hits off of the the Cotuit Kettleers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Mitch Stallings (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
