The Harwich Mariners (12-12) and the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (11-14) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the Harwich Mariners capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-3 win at Red Wilson Field.

The Harwich Mariners were led by Matt Gonzalez's hitting. Gonzalez went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.

The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox were led by Stephen Wrenn's hitting. Wrenn went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Spencer Trayner recorded his third win of the year for the Harwich Mariners. Trayner struck out one, walked one and gave up two hits.

Alec Eisenberg was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
