Three first-inning runs helped the Chatham Anglers to a 4-3 win over the Bourne Braves at Veterans Field on Tuesday.

The Chatham Anglers scored in the first on an error, an error, and an RBI single by Zack Short.

Aaron McGarity pitched lights out for the Chatham Anglers. McGarity held the Bourne Braves hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Kyle Driscoll pitched lights out for the Bourne Braves. The Chatham Anglers managed just one hit off of Driscoll, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Brandon Miller got the win, running his season record to 2-0. Miller struck out three, walked none and gave up three hits.

Nick Jensen-Clagg couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Bourne Braves, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
