The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox offense too much for the Brewster Whitecaps in 10-2 rout

The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (11-12) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Brewster Whitecaps (10-11), recording a 10-2 victory on Sunday at Stony Brook.

With six runs in the first three innings, the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A two-run home run by Gio Brusa during the first inning supplied the early offense for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox.

Ryan Noda racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He singled in the second inning and homered in the third inning.

Gabe Cramer brought the heat against the Brewster Whitecaps during his outing. The Brewster Whitecaps managed just three hits off of Cramer, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out five during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Nick Senzel was solid at the plate for the Brewster Whitecaps. Senzel went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Cory Malcom recorded his first win of the year for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He allowed one run over 2 1/3 innings. Malcom struck out three, walked none and gave up three hits.

JD Busfield couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Brewster Whitecaps, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked two and struck out two.
