The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox's late runs seal 9-2 blowout over the Chatham Anglers

The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (9-10) took down the Chatham Anglers (10-9) 9-2 on Wednesday at Red Wilson Field after slamming the Chatham Anglers with six runs in the seventh inning.

The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox scored in the seventh on a solo home run by Donnie Walton, an error, an error, a two-run single by Cole Billingsley, and a sacrifice fly by Walton.

Walton racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox.

David Ellingson brought the heat against the Chatham Anglers during his outing. The Chatham Anglers managed just one hit off of the the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.

The Chatham Anglers were led by Todd Czinege's hitting. Czinege went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the ninth inning.

Brett Adcock got the win, running his season record to 2-2. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out four, walked five and surrendered three hits.

A.J. Puckett (0-2) took the loss for the Chatham Anglers. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
