Ryan Noda went 1-3 and hit a home run, helping the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (8-9) to a 7-2 victory over the Chatham Anglers (9-8) on Sunday at Red Wilson Field.
He homered in the sixth inning.Ricky Thomas struck out seven hitters en route to the the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox win. Thomas allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk over six innings.
Luke Persico had a hot bat for the Chatham Anglers. Persico went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third inning and homered in the eighth inning.
Parker Dunshee had an impressive outing against the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox's lineup. The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox managed just two hits off of the the Chatham Anglers' pitcher, who allowed two earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his five innings of work.
Dunshee couldn't get it done on the mound for the Chatham Anglers, taking a loss.
