Kyle Lewis went 2-3 and hit a home run, helping the Orleans Firebirds (11-4) to a 6-1 victory over the Falmouth Commodores (6-10) on Friday at Arnie Allen Diamond.

Kyle Serrano pitched lights out for the Orleans Firebirds. The Falmouth Commodores managed just three hits off of Serrano, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out two during his five innings of work.

The Orleans Firebirds couldn't get anything going so long as Wyatt Short was on the hill. Short held the Orleans Firebirds hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Bryce Montes de Oca couldn't get it done on the mound for the Falmouth Commodores, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked six, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
