The Chatham Anglers (21-16) didn't put up much of a fight on Saturday, as the Bourne Braves (17-18) cruised to a blowout 8-2 win at Veterans Field.

The Bourne Braves scored two runs in the seventh on the Bourne Braves scored in the seventh on an RBI double by Charles Galiano and a sacrifice fly by Billy Walker.

The Chatham Anglers jumped out to an early lead, but they were unable to hang on. The Chatham Anglers led until the fourth inning, but the Bourne Braves took the lead back on a two-run error.

Reid Humphreys reached base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Ross Vance had an impressive outing against the Chatham Anglers' lineup. Vance held the Chatham Anglers hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

A.J. Puckett was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
