The Hyannis Harbor Hawks (1-0) took home a marathon 5-3 victory over the Falmouth Commodores (0-1) on Tuesday at Arnie Allen Diamond.

With the score tied at three, hit a sacrifice fly, scoring JaVon Shelby.

Shelby had two extra-base hits for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

The Falmouth Commodores' lineup had no answer for Nolan Blackwood. The Falmouth Commodores managed just one hit off of the the Hyannis Harbor Hawks' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

The Falmouth Commodores were led by Boomer White's hitting. White went 3-5 and scored one run. He singled in the fourth, seventh, and eleventh innings.

Garrett Brummett couldn't get it done on the mound for the Falmouth Commodores, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
