The Traverse City Beach Bums (55-38) and the Frontier Greys (40-55) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Traverse City Beach Bums that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 5-4 win at Wuerfel Park.

Alex Tomasovich did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Traverse City Beach Bums, reaching base four times. He singled in the third inning.

Michael Antonio had a hot bat for the Frontier Greys. Antonio went 3-4. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.

Rob Blanc recorded his first win of the year for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings. Blanc struck out one, walked one and gave up six hits.

Justin DAlessandro (5-8) took the loss for the Frontier Greys. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked nine, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
