The Lake Erie Crushers (37-52) beat the River City Rascals 10-3 on Sunday at T. R. Hughes Ballpark after a six-run explosion in the fifth inning.

The Lake Erie Crushers scored in the fifth on a fielder's choice, a single by Mark Fowler, , a two-run double by Juan Sanchez, and a solo home run by Boo Vazquez.

Vazquez racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Lake Erie Crushers.

Jackson Slaid racked up two RBIs on one hit for the River City Rascals (51-39). He homered in the fifth inning.

Zach Morton improved to 5-4 on the year by picking up the win for the Lake Erie Crushers. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered nine hits.

Dane Stone couldn't get it done on the mound for the River City Rascals, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out two.
