Max White went 1-4 and hit a home run, sparking the Windy City ThunderBolts (38-50) to a 3-2 victory over the Joliet Slammers (37-51) on Friday at Standard Bank Stadium.

Jake Fisher picked up the win for the Windy City ThunderBolts. Fisher allowed two earned runs, six hits and three walks while striking out six over 7 2/3 innings of work.

Mike Garza racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Joliet Slammers. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the eighth inning.

David Kubiak was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out six, and allowed three runs.
