Dane Stone hopes every outing could go as well as Tuesday, as Stone threw seven scoreless innings to carry the River City Rascals (48-37) to a 4-1 victory over the Windy City ThunderBolts (35-50) at Standard Bank Stadium.

Curran Redal got on base four times in the game for the River City Rascals. He singled in the third and seventh innings.

The Windy City ThunderBolts were led by Ransom LaLonde's hitting. LaLonde went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the eighth inning.

Danny Jimenez ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his ninth loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
