A four-run seventh inning sealed an 11-3 win for the River City Rascals (43-34) over the Rockford Aviators (42-35) on Saturday at Aviator Stadium.

The River City Rascals scored in the seventh on an RBI single by Curran Redal, a two-run double by Taylor Ard, and an RBI single by Hector Crespo.

Ard racked up two RBIs on two hits for the River City Rascals.

Zac Treece had an impressive outing against the Rockford Aviators' lineup. Treece gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his 3 1/3 innings of work.

Raul Linares was hot from the plate for the Rockford Aviators. Linares went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

David Diaz (1-2) took the loss for the Rockford Aviators. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
