The Frontier Greys (34-38) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 2-1 to the Lake Erie Crushers (31-40) on Sunday.
The Lake Erie Crushers took the lead in the sixth inning on an RBI single by Anderson Hidalgo.
Trevor Longfellow brought the heat against the Frontier Greys during his outing. The Frontier Greys managed just one hit off of the the Lake Erie Crushers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 2 1/3 innings of work.
Bobby Shore was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
