A walk-off error from Dean Wilson brought home the winning run for the Evansville Otters (46-25) in a 5-4 victory over the Southern Illinois Miners (46-25) in 12 innings at Bosse Field on Friday.

John Schultz was hot from the plate for the Evansville Otters. Schultz went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the eleventh inning.

Edgar Lopez improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Evansville Otters. He allowed one run over three innings. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Scott Harkin couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Southern Illinois Miners, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
