Mike Torres went 1-3 as the Windy City ThunderBolts (26-37) took home a 7-3 victory over the River City Rascals (34-30) at Standard Bank Stadium on Friday.

Tommy Nance had an impressive outing against the River City Rascals' lineup. Nance held the River City Rascals hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Jackson Slaid racked up two RBIs on two hits for the River City Rascals. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Austin Wright recorded his fourth win of the year for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He allowed three runs over five innings. Wright struck out five, walked five and gave up four hits.

Clay Smith (0-2) took the loss for the River City Rascals. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
