The Joliet Slammers (23-33) continued to pile up the runs on Wednesday, scoring four runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 16-2 win over the Normal CornBelters (32-24) at The Corn Crib.

Mark Micowski led the Normal CornBelters' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He tripled in the sixth inning.
Kevin Brahney ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in two innings, walked two and struck out one.
