Laster allowed six hits, one walk and struck out six.

A solo home run by Jackson Slaid, an RBI double by Josh Silver, a double by Silver, a single by Curran Redal, an RBI single by Brian Hansen, and a single by Danny Canela in the second inning helped the River City Rascals put some runs on the board early.

Redal racked up four RBIs on three hits for the River City Rascals.

Tony Rizzotti ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in three innings, walked one and struck out two.
