Miscue gives the Lake Erie Crushers 2-1 walk-off victory over the Windy City ThunderBolts

A walk-off error from Joey Burney brought home the winning run for the Lake Erie Crushers (16-24) in a 2-1 victory over the Windy City ThunderBolts (15-26) at All Pro Freight Stadium on Friday.

Ty Nelson had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fifth and ninth innings.

Brad Zambron put together a nice outing. Zambron gave up just one hit, allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out four during his six innings of work.

It was a good day at the plate for the Windy City ThunderBolts' Larry Balkwill. Balkwill went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning.

Trevor Longfellow got the win, running his season record to 3-2. Longfellow struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Travis Tingle couldn't get it done on the bump for the Windy City ThunderBolts, taking a loss. He lasted just 8 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
