Will Oliver kept the Windy City ThunderBolts (36-49) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Evansville Otters (47-37) beat the Windy City ThunderBolts, 5-2.

Oliver struck out five and allowed no walks and five hits.

John Schultz was hot from the plate for the Evansville Otters. Schultz went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the fifth and eighth innings.

Danny Jimenez ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his ninth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
