The Gateway Grizzlies (12-24) built an early edge on Thursday, but the Lake Erie Crushers (14-19) roared back to steal a 3-1 victory at All Pro Freight Stadium.
The Lake Erie Crushers took the lead in the sixth inning on an RBI double by Ty Nelson.
The Gateway Grizzlies couldn't get anything going so long as Rob Blanc was on the hill. The Gateway Grizzlies managed just three hits off of Blanc, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out five during his five innings of work.
Max Schonfeld pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, six hits and one walk while striking out two.
Brad Duffy got the win, running his season record to 4-1. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.
Schonfeld couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Gateway Grizzlies, taking a loss.
