The Rockford Aviators take out the River City Rascals with help from Robinson, 4-2

Dusty Robinson had two extra base hits, sparking the Rockford Aviators (23-11) to a 4-2 victory over the River City Rascals (20-14) on Wednesday at T. R. Hughes Ballpark.

He doubled in the sixth and eighth innings.

Kyle Hassna handled the River City Rascals' lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Hassna allowed one earned run, three hits and one walk over six innings.

Taylor Ard was hot from the plate for the River City Rascals. Ard went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Lucas Laster allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings of work.

Colby Holmes recorded his first win of the year for the Rockford Aviators. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Chandler Jagodzinski couldn't get it done on the rubber for the River City Rascals, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.

The Rockford Aviators were sparked by Michael Hur and Robinson, who teamed up for three hits and four RBIs.
