The Schaumburg Boomers (14-16) put in a full day's work in a 12-inning, 9-7 win over the Florence Freedom (12-18) Sunday at UC Health Stadium.

Daniel Fraga had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He homered in the fifth inning and doubled in the third, eleventh, and twelfth innings.
Hideyoshi Otake got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed three runs over 3 1/3 innings. Otake struck out two, walked none and gave up five hits.
